Our Climate Action Principles

The University declared a climate emergency in 2020 and developed principles to guide our response to it. We report on our progress through our blog and in our annual Climate Action report.


We explore different aspects of our whole institution response and the views of our community in detail on our blog.

Learning opportunities

Courses available to staff and students to learn more about how you can take practical action on climate change. To discuss departmental talks or bespoke training, please email climateaction@bath.ac.uk.


Climate Literacy course

Education plays a crucial role in addressing climate change. The Climate Literacy course provides an informal way to learn more about the climate crisis.

To mark Earth Day, we are pleased to announce a new collection of online guidance and resources to support our community in making research more sustainable.
